Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The Crossing Co (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates crossing.one and publishes The Crossing Report. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.

1. Information we collect

Email address. When you subscribe to The Crossing Report, we collect your email address. This is required to deliver the newsletter.

Payment information. If you upgrade to a premium subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or billing details — Stripe handles that directly. We receive confirmation of your subscription status only.

Usage data. We collect standard server logs and analytics data, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it.

Newsletter engagement. Our newsletter platform (Beehiiv) may track email opens and link clicks to help us understand which content is useful.

2. How we use your information

4. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your subscription status. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features (such as staying logged in) may not work.

5. Data retention

We retain your email address and account information for as long as your subscription is active or as needed to provide the service. If you unsubscribe and request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you (CCPA, PIPEDA)
